I did an interview and my subject was the child of a distant relative who was entering the military.

Final Paper

My artist was the band "Sonic Youth" and their two works, "Scream" and "Plato's Cave, Rothko's Chapel, Lincoln's Profile". I used the the sources, "The Aesthetics of Noise" by Torben Sangild and two books.

My trip took me to Fox Point, WI. It was about an hour on the bus and I had to take 2 buses to get there. I got on the 15 then got on the 68 in Whitefish Bay from there.

The recording itself was made at a random house about a block south from 755 North Port Washington Road. It was close to the highway but there were not a lot of cars driving that day.
